What documents do you need to send my shipment?
To clear the shipment through customs, we will require a copy of your passport, copy of passengers travel ticket, authorization letter, detailed invoice cum packing list describing the contents of each package as well as a value assigned to each item. If you expect to start packing soon, we suggest that you take notes of the contents in detail.
What's the major difference in AirFreight and SeaFreight?
Air: Airfreight reaches in few days and very convenient, but is more expensive than sea freight.
Sea: SeaFreight reaches in few weeks and less convenient due to location of port, shipping companies and port customs at origin and destination. SeaFreight is preferred only in cases where cargo is over 330Kgs to receive actual economies.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
We recommend that you give us at least 2 to 3 days notice to make a booking. We can work with just 24 hours notice if you are really in a hurry! For Urgent services our charges are double.
Door Delivery service -
We do provide door delivery service only by air. Door Delivery Freight charges workout very expensive and unforeseen customs issues in some cases at destination. This option is usually always skipped by customers.
Can I send suitcases?
Absolutely. You can also send cardboard boxes (make sure they are durable such as double walled to protect your goods), trunks, plastic containers. We cover all packages with plastic before handover to Carriers during the monsoon in India. This will be charged to you.

Can you arrange storage?
Many of our customers do traveling before reaching their final destination. We usually arrange a delivery that will arrive at the destination after your arrival to save storage costs at destination and easier customs formalities at origin and destination.
Tip: Storage is far less expensive at the origin than at the destination!
Does weight matter?
Air: The box needs to be light enough for one person to lift. If it is too heavy, then you will need two or more men or a forklift. This comes at an additional cost if there is pickup involved at either end of the shipment and applicable handling charges at all airports/seaports. There is a cap on baggage weight (25kgs/package) at many Airports.
Sea: There is no restriction on weight
Is Freight charged on volume or on weight?
Chargeable AirFreight is Actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. (As per IATA rules, Volumetric weight = length x breadth x height x no. of packages [all dimensions in cm] divide by 6,000)
Chargeable SeaFreight is usually in most cases calculated on cubic meter (CBM). unless every cubic meter of cargo exceeds 300kgs.
Will I have to pay any duties or taxes at the destination?
In most countries, there is no duty or tax if the goods have been pre-owned and used and for returning residents. This does vary by country, however.
Who measures the boxes to calculate my final shipping charges? The freight is weighed and measured at the freight depot when it is delivered. Confirmation of these measurements will be provided to you as a standard feature of our service and will be mentioned on your Way-bill.
How much is cargo insurance?
Insurance premium varies on the value and nature of the goods.
How do I avail any discount on AirFreight?
Some Airlines give up to 50% discount on normal freight for passengers traveling on their airline. Most Airlines have discontinued this service today.
How do I track my cargo?
Air: Kindly visit the air tracking section of our website. Track cargo directly from airline using airway bill number (AWB).
Sea: Kindly visit the sea tracking section of our website. Track cargo using Bill of Lading no. (B/L) or container number from shipping company.
How and when do I make payments?
You can pay by Cheque/ DD/ PO / cash or bank direct deposit. Please note that payment is due prior to shipment. We accept cheque at least 3 days before handing over cargo to airline.
What do I do at destination?
Air: After cargo is handed over to airline, we will send you a copy of AWB. At destination you may also have to go to the customs office and show your passport and your copy of your airline airway bill. You can then pick up your shipment from the airline cargo office.
Sea: Upon your arrival contact the Shipping Line Agent listed on the Bill of Lading. This agent will advise you of clearance fees and any port charges. You may then pick up your shipment from the port office.
Will my packages be opened at any point?
All boxes and suitcases are subject to security checks and dangerous/ banned/ restricted goods inspection by customs at origin and destination.
